Buy Social for a Better World is a week-long campaign designed to champion Social Enterprises and recognise all the excellent work they do throughout the year and will run from Monday 7th – Saturday 12th October 2019. Ards and North Down Borough Council would like to recognise and raise awareness of all the Social Enterprises within the Borough and the positive impact they have on our local community. We are promoting local Social Enterprises so as to encourage people to #BuySocial.
Ferry FM is saddened to learn of the passing of Davy Fitzsimmons. Davy was a member of Portaferry Gala Festival Committee for many years and was always on hand during Gala Week to help out where needed. Davy will be greatly missed and we extend our sympathy to his family circle and friends.
